Resfiner Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to Resfiner ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website, services, and subscription plans (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.

2. Subscription Plans

Resfiner offers multiple subscription plans, including Free, Starter, and Pro, as detailed on our subscription page. Each plan includes specific features, such as resume refinements, ATS score analysis, cover letter generation, application tracking, and support levels. Subscription details, including pricing and features, are subject to change, and any updates will be communicated to users.

• Free Plan: Includes 5 resume refinements per month, ATS score preview (score and category breakdown only), and application tracking for up to 50 applications.
• Starter Plan ($6/month or $60/year): Includes 40 resume refinements per month, full ATS score analysis with 2 re-scores per generation, cover letter generation, application tracking, and the option to purchase 15 extra requests for $5.
• Pro Plan ($18/month or $180/year): Includes 150 resume refinements per month, full ATS score analysis with 5 re-scores per generation, cover letter generation, free application tracking, basic analytics, priority support, and the option to purchase 30 extra requests for $5.

3. ATS Score Analysis

Resfiner provides an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) score analysis feature that evaluates your resume against a job description. Free plan users receive a preview of their ATS score, including overall score and category breakdown, but do not have access to detailed keyword analysis, suggestions, or re-scoring. Paid plan users (Starter and Pro) receive full access to matched and missing keyword analysis, improvement suggestions, and a limited number of re-scores per resume generation as specified in their plan. ATS scores are provided for informational purposes and do not guarantee interview selection or job placement.

4. Payments and Billing

Payments for subscriptions and additional requests are processed through Paystack, our third-party payment processor. By subscribing, you agree to Paystack's terms of service. You may choose between monthly or yearly billing, with yearly plans offering a 16% discount. All prices are in USD and exclusive of applicable taxes, which may be added at checkout.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date. For upgrades, you will be charged immediately without prorated billing, and your limits will be topped off. Downgrades take effect immediately and you will be charged for the new plan.

5. Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing management link provided in your account. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to premium features until the end of your current billing cycle. No refunds will be issued for partial billing periods or unused services, except as required by applicable law.

6. User Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate information during registration and payment. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You may not share your account with others or use the Services for unlawful purposes. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying the accuracy of any AI-generated content, including resumes, cover letters, and ATS scores, before using them in job applications.

7. Limitation of Liability

Resfiner provides its Services "as is" and does not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your expectations. ATS scores are estimates based on keyword analysis and do not guarantee that your resume will pass any specific employer's ATS system. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Resfiner and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services, including but not limited to job application outcomes.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Services at our discretion, including for violation of these Terms, non-payment, fraudulent activity, or account sharing. Upon termination, you will lose access to premium features, and no refunds will be provided for unused services.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page, and continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
